Solo Exhibition by Ahmed Al Awadhi: “The Geometry of Gaze” at the Market Island

Dubai is set to welcome a remarkable celebration of Emirati contemporary art with The Geometry of Gaze, a solo exhibition by renowned Emirati artist Ahmed Al Awadhi, presented in collaboration with Velmor Events and hosted at Market Island, Dubai Festival City Mall.

With an artistic career spanning more than 25 years, Ahmed Al Awadhi has established himself as one of the UAE’s leading contemporary artists. His work reflects a distinctive artistic vision shaped by experience, observation and a profound engagement with the visual language of contemporary art.

His remarkable career has also received international recognition. Among the honours he has received is a prestigious medal presented by Ioannis Maronitis, President of the UNESCO Piraeus and Islands Group and the International Action Art Organization, highlighting the artist’s growing international presence and contribution to the arts.

Through The Geometry of Gaze, visitors will have the opportunity to encounter the artist’s unique perspective and explore the ways in which vision, perception and artistic expression intersect.
