Panel Discussion and “Afterimage” Video Arts Screening Comes to OMIC in Dubai
Dubai’s dynamic art scene continues to bring together artists, filmmakers, curators and cultural practitioners through events that encourage dialogue across disciplines. On 26 September 2026, OMIC Cultural Hub will host a Panel Discussion + “Afterimage” Video Arts Screening, an evening dedicated to contemporary visual culture, moving-image practices and artistic exchange.
The programme will begin at 5:00 PM at OMIC Theatre, Goshi Warehouse City, Al Quoz, bringing together several voices from the region’s creative community.
The panel features Nujoom Alghanem, filmmaker, poet and visual artist; Khalil Abdulwahid, visual artist; Hind Mezaina, artist, film curator and writer; and Manish Mundra, filmmaker, multidisciplinary artist and founder of OMIC. The discussion will be moderated by Valentina Della Rocca, Art & Space Curator at The Warehouse.
Curated by Narges Soleimanzadeh, the event combines conversation with a screening programme titled “Afterimage.” The video arts selection includes works by Nujoom Alghanem, Khalil Abdulwahid, Ali Etihad, Beatriz Minguez de Molina and Mohammad Ali Famori.
Art Beyond the Static Image
