Dubai has long been a crossroads of cultures, where ideas, traditions, and communities from across the world meet and mingle. As the city continues to deepen its role as a global hub, Central Asia is emerging as an increasingly compelling part of that cultural conversation. On Thursday, July 16, entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders will gather at Design Dome Dubai in City Walk for the inaugural Central Asia Club Breakfast: Kazakhstan Spotlight, an event designed to celebrate not only commerce, but also the cultural connections shaping the region.
The breakfast marks the launch of a monthly series created to strengthen ties between Dubai and Central Asia through dialogue, exchange, and shared experience. This first edition turns its attention to Kazakhstan, a country whose identity is shaped by a rich blend of nomadic heritage, contemporary ambition, and a growing presence on the international stage. Alongside insights into its economy and investment landscape, the event will offer a broader look at the cultural energy that continues to define Kazakhstan’s place in the region.
Adding to the significance of the morning, H.E. Almaz Tasbolat, Consul General of Kazakhstan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, will join as one of the keynote speakers, sharing perspectives on Kazakhstan’s evolving relationship with the UAE, as well as the country’s wider cultural and economic outlook. He will be joined by Lalit Tilani, President of the Central Asia Club and Founder of Design Dome Dubai, who will speak about the vision behind creating a platform where business, culture, and innovation can meet in one space.
More than a networking breakfast, the event reflects Design Dome Dubai’s broader philosophy of bringing together creativity, craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural dialogue. The venue has quickly become a place where art, design, lifestyle, and global perspectives intersect, making it a natural setting for conversations that move beyond markets and into the cultural ties that shape them.
Founded by a family with deep roots in fashion, design, music, and international business, Design Dome blends heritage with contemporary creativity. Its founders have built a space where culture and commerce coexist, encouraging collaborations that are as much about shared identity and artistic exchange as they are about professional opportunity.
With limited seats available, the breakfast offers an intimate setting for those interested in discovering new partnerships while engaging with the cultural richness of Central Asia.
